Up the escalators at Bridgepoint Shopping Centre you’ll find Café Jam. That's also where you’ll find Kostas and Helen with their friendly staff working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you a selection of fabulous coffees, cakes or sandwiches as well as wraps for the morning starter or lunch.
Kostas and Helen have been involved in the food industry for many years. Café Jam is the culmination of years of cooking and providing great service. Over the last four years Helen and Kostas have focused on providing excellent food and coffee to their many customers. Helen’s muffins, friands and home made soup are extremely popular. Helen says do try the spinach & fetta pie – made as only a true Greek can. And if you haven’t tried their Bougatsa Dessert, this is too die for and the best you have tasted. The staff at Café Jam are a very important part of the café, many have been with Helen and Kostas for a number of years. Kostas is in charge of the great coffee, Helen, Rose and Beth are in charge of the cakes and food which incidentally is cooked daily. And everything is served by Eddie, Polash, Ariel, Babin, Sagoon, Vicki (Helen and Kostas’ daughter who helps out when not nursing) and their son Chris. From serving ice-cream to kids after school in Mosman, Kostas & Helen are now serving babycinos to the second generation. They love working at the Café and catching up with all their customers 7 days a week and having a great time Helen always enjoys talking with her customers about anything of importance to them and squeezes in a coffee if possible. Kostas and Helen make the customers feel welcome and part of the Café Jam family. Being Mosman locals they have been bringing more than just fine food and coffee to the area. If you didn’t visit their Christmas lights on Rangers Road this year you’d better put it in your diary for this year. Many hours were spent decorating and bringing the spirit of Christmas alive. For the sporting buff, a little known fact is that Kostas is a leading authority regarding sports results and loves chatting to people about their favourite sport. If you’re feeling in the mood why not put his knowledge to the test. A smile and a good laugh is always assured at Café Jam (as well as great coffee and food) so next time you are in the neighbourhood why not drop in any say hi! |
