Nicholas’ is a veritable “Fish Market” in the heart of Mosman. It's called a ‘wet shop’ because there is no cooking, they just serve fresh fish & seafood. Nicholas' have a huge selection of fresh fish to choose from including whole Snapper, Atlantic Salmon, Flathead and Ocean Perch to name a few.

If you purchase a whole fish you can have it filleted on the spot and if you wish, keep the bones for a lovely fish stock or for use in bouillabaisse in the colder months. They also offer individual fillets of ocean trout, barramundi, warehou and John Dory as well as swordfish steaks and Atlantic salmon cutlets.

As well as their huge selection of fresh fish they have a selection of prawns both cooked and green as well as oysters, mussels, calamari and a superb marinara mix. Nicholas' are only too happy to place special orders for their customers including cooking lobsters for you or providing them green. Seafood is a rich source of lean protein and those important omega-3 fatty acids, it is low in sodium and packed with vitamins and minerals, it's also easier to digest than red meat or chicken.
