Sue and apprentice therapy dog Baxter will be back at Bridgepoint Shopping Centre from Monday 29th October to Sunday 4th of November. Baxter will be there for treats and pats and Sue will be there to help seniors and their families navigate the Aged Care system.
Seniors are faced with many choices on how to live today. With over 90% wishing to remain living in the comfort of their own home Sue believes it is important that they are aware of what help is available to them.
As well as providing advice Sue will be conducting free health checks – She did over 60 last month at Bridgepoint referring 12 people with undiagnosed hypertension and high blood sugar results to their GP's.
Sue is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience who started her business over six years ago when the family of a patient she was providing care for at St Vincent’s asked if she would manage their mother’s in-home care following discharge. The family loved Sue’s empathetic, can do approach and her ability to balance their mother’s complex medical needs with her desire to remain independent and engaged with family and community.
